Owners Robert C. (Steve) and Sharon
Handy, are located in Scobey, MT and Arlington, AZ. Steve and Sharon have
four children, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Jodie, is
married to Jeff Richardson and they have four girls, Ami, Carrie, Kiki,
and Gerry. They have three grandchildren Jayce, Boen, and Gracee Jo. Jodie no
longer rodeos and is setting up these web pages for Handy Horses. Jackie,
is married
Tim Nelson and they have one daughter Alex, they still compete in team
roping.
Jordan is married to Hillary, his kids are Elizabeth (Liz) and Seth, he
ranches and still competes in rodeos and team roping. Jason is
single and is currently competing in the PRCA.
The Handy Ranch has strived to breed a
Quarter Horse with good confirmation, disposition, athletic ability and
the desire to perform at any level and in all areas of competition;
without compromising the foundation bloodlines necessary for a strong
breeding program.
Handy bred horses have proven to be winners
in the rodeo arena for many years. Specializing in breeding this caliber
of horse is our goal.
We have chosen our mares after years of
competition and bred back to only those bloodlines of whom were proven in
the arena.
Our new generation of horses are proving to
also be winners in the arena; with speed, chrome and versatility to be
unsurpassed.
